HST Being Applied to Real Estate

   HST will apply to

• NEW BUILD homes and there will be available a rebate similar to GST (provided rebate is assigned to builder and other requirements are met). 
•  Sale or purchase of RESALE HOMES homes normally will not be subject to HST.  
• Vacant lots may or may not be effected. 
• Farms may be effected. 
• HST also becomes applicable for most services that are currently involved in Real Estate transactions such as: 
• Lawyers fees, Real Estate Commissions, Home Inspectors, Movers, Energy Audits and other services.  

 Please understand that WE ARE COLLECTING THE HST for the GOVERNMENT.
